By downloading, installing, or using Weimer Network Defender, you agree to the terms below. Read them carefully before proceeding.
Weimer Network Defender modifies the behavior of background processes and network connections on your operating system. While the software is designed with safety in mind, you understand and agree that:
The software is provided "as is", without any warranty of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every macOS configuration, version, or third-party software you may run.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Weimer Software shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to data loss, system instability, lost revenue, or interruption of service — arising out of or in connection with your use of the software.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is made (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
If a decision you made through the software causes your Mac to become unstable, you can always recover by booting into Safe Mode and running the appropriate command-line utility (documented in the product) to undo the change. No setting is permanent.
A purchased license grants you the right to install and use the software on up to three Macs that you own or control. The license is non-transferable. Reverse engineering, redistribution, or resale of the software is not permitted.
We offer a 14-day refund window, no questions asked. Refunds are processed through our payment provider (Polar). Contact service@weimersoftware.com to request one.
